The Wimpy Men's Class
A message from the teacher . . .
"Welcome to the Adult Men’s Sunday School Class. We are made up of men ranging in age from early thirties to to late seventies, but any man of any age is welcome.
This class had it’s beginning in 1990 when Brother Harold Pirello, now with the Lord, had a burden for a men’s Sunday School class. At the time, BCBC was still at our Latimer Street location in Bellmead. Because we had no room in which to meet, Brother Harold offered his place of business. He owned “WIMPY'S" Hamburgers located on the northwest side of Bellmead. Naturally we were quickly and affectionately dubbed the “Wimpy Men’s Sunday School Class”.
We met there for several years while waiting for the current church building to be completed at which time we somewhat relunctantly moved into the new building.
God has richly blessed our class. We have spirited Bible based lessons and great fellowship. We extend a heartfelt invitation to any man to visit the class and share God’s blessings".
